When Reaping Feels Like Consequences

There is no greater wakeup call than to reap what you sow and to know exactly what you sowed, when you sowed it and even why. (Galatians 6:7) You can’t be mad at God because you brought it on yourself. It makes no sense to get mad at yourself either. Your best bet is to partner with God and do all you can to bring Him glory as you walk this reaping out. (Romans 5:3 & 1 Corinthians 10:31)

The phenomenal news is that God keeps you and teaches you in times like these. (Psalm 121:3-4) He is so merciful and He knows just when to insert His tender loving kindness.

If you find yourself in this position, don’t throw in the towel. Instead repent, (1 John 1:9) pick up a note pad and sit at God’s feet and take notes. You’ll shed some tears but God will cause you to grow and glow. Aren’t you glad that He promised that all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose? (Romans 8:28)

Well, I’m done preaching now. Say ouch if this message hit where you live. I did. Ouch!!!!
