Faith-filled Resident Seeks Beachfront Property

I know I am not the only one who longs to own a beach front property. I would love living by the water. It would not be hard to adapt to a lifestyle of living by water. I'd have to own several pairs of flip flops and my wardrobe would have to have a few quirky swimsuit coverups. I'd be waterlogged all the time just because I lived by water. My conversation and my daily activities would be totally connected to my living by the water. Daily I would be refreshed by gloriously breathtaking views and I would wake up loving to listen to the sweet sounds of the waves coming in. Even when the storms would come, I would rest and say to myself "Storms go with the territory. That's how we roll when we live by water." I don't live by the water YET, but I make it my aim daily to live by faith. A guy named Habakkuk (Habakkuk 2:4) said living by faith is how the just live. That word just is similar to the word righteous (righteous=in right standing with God). I gave my heart to the Lord (Romans 10:9-10) over 20 years ago and I choose everyday and in every way to do things His way. When Habbakuk says the just shall live by faith, he's talking about me. Since I have been talking about how to live by water I can apply that understanding to living by faith. In fact I'll call this section a lifestyle of living by faith. Wow. Think about wardrobe when we live by faith. Psalms 33:1 says that praise is the fashion statement the righteous should be making. Now, somebody say alleluia! When I live by water I am waterlogged. I let it be all over me. When I live by faith I soak in the Word and hangout in the presence of the one my faith is in. (His name is Jesus) Anybody see my glow? My conversations and my activities are faith filled. David had it down pat in 1Samuel 17:37. He spoke out loud what God had done for Him in the past and let that drive him to face and be victorious over his gigantic circumstance. So what about my view in times of calm and times of storm? Say it with me (Psalm 34:1) I will bless the lord at all times. His praise shall be continually be in my mouth. My praise and my thanksgiving is reliable. My praise draws me into His presence and my thanksgiving makes Him bigger than anything that might come against me. (Psalm 69:30) My thanksgiving MAGNIFIES my God even in the storms. Storms come with the territory. I'm living by faith in a true and a living God and I know that I know that He is in control. Guess what? I love the view from my faith-front property.
